SuccessFactors can be accessed on mobile devices through the SF Mobile App. These mobile applications are included as part of your SuccessFactors subscription and are free of charge. To activate the SF Mobile App, request an activation code from your administrator. Once you have the code, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your SuccessFactors account.
  • Select Options, then Mobile.
  • Enter the Activation Code.
  • Upon successful entry, you will receive a confirmation message indicating the successful activation of your mobile device.

To add custom fields, field types, and picklist values, follow these steps:

  • Log into SuccessFactors and access the Admin Center.
  • Under the Employee Files menu, select “Define Employee Fields.”
  • Scroll down to the desired information field and click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the table. Choose “Add Field.”
  • A new field called “Custom Field 1” will appear. To rename the field, click the icon next to the custom field.
  • By default, newly added fields are set as “Text” field types. To change the field type, select the drop-down arrow, choose “Change Type,” and click the “Change Type” button.
  • Once you have successfully added a new custom field, click “Save” at the top right of the page.

To create a new user, access the SAP Support Portal and log in. Follow these steps:

  • Click on the “Access my Launchpad” icon.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to find “SuccessFactors Administration.”
  • Select the “Support User Management” tile.
  • Click “Request User” at the bottom right of the page.
  • Provide the requested user information on the following page.
  • To grant authorization to the user, follow these steps:
    • Click on “Users.”
    • Select the “Authorization” button at the top left of the page.
    • Edit the authorization access for users by clicking the pencil icon on the right side of the page.
    • To check authorization access for existing users, select the “Existing Authorizations” button on the top row.

Provisioning access enables consultants or partners to perform certain administrative tasks, such as changing scheduled jobs, enabling or disabling features, managing SSO settings, and adjusting other provisioning settings. However, provisioning access does not grant privileges for front-end changes, such as proxy rights, permissions, or user data modifications (unless scheduling jobs to import data).
